DW is a bilingual Media Artist with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Starting as an actor, DW made his mark by working on stage and appearing in his first national commercial for Comcast. He then progressed in his career to become an Art Director and is now making a name for himself as a Director. With an impressive portfolio of work, DW has proven himself as a top-level professional, with selected credits including The Boys (Amazon, 2020), Nightbooks (Netflix, 2021), Zombies 3 (Disney, 2022), and Tallboyz (CBC, 2022).  DW made his directorial debut with the short film The Independents: Dream Life (2014) and has since directed Homeless (2018), a short docu-drama based on the true story of New Yorker Hugo Tale-Yax. In 2020, DW tackled a sensitive subject matter in the LGBTQ2IA+ community with his short film Fling.  DW's background as a performer and working with great mentors on a wide variety of productions has given him an artistic edge, allowing him to explore, texturize, and challenge his actors' performances. With over two decades of technical experience, DW has gained an acute awareness of the camera, production needs, and practical aspects of directing. He has a fun, loving, and contagious energy that brings a light and comfortable atmosphere to any production.  Driven by his passion for storytelling and inspiring others, DW is dedicated to keeping his work fresh and innovative.
